Hi – we’re glad you’re here and thanks for stopping by BrainReigns! We are Nicola and Kirsten – two girls who have known each other as acquaintances since sixth grade, until recently, when we connected on a different level. January 2015, Kirsten had a ruptured brain aneurysm. Nicola and several other school friends noted the event on Facebook and sent notes of encouragement. Then, March of that same year, Nicola had a ruptured brain aneurysm. Those same friends reached out to Kirsten to seek advice. We never expected this to be our common bond.
