Green Smoothie for the Brain

Green Smoothie

All Green. Tart. Tasty.

This one is heavy on leafy greens and other veggies, but you won’t even know they are there!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup frozen pineapple chunks
  • 1 organic Granny Smith apple cut into chunks
  • 1/2 kiwi
  • 2 inch chunk of zucchini
  • 1 inch chunk of cucumber
  • 2 inch chunk of celery
  • 1 cup leafy greens - spinach and kale are our favorites!
  • 2 parsley sprigs optional
  • fresh lime juice to taste

Instructions

  1. Liquid of your choice. We like tart for this smoothie. The tart plain unsweetened organic kefir with a little water or coconut water works great for us. Just avoid the sugary processed juices.

    Variations - Add matcha, seeds, hemp hearts -- anything. All ingredients to taste.

    Blend until smooth.
